  • Children’s ages (where provided, to help with gear recommendations)

We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. and is subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

  • Process and manage your hire booking
  • Arrange delivery and collection of equipment
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts
  • Respond to enquiries and customer service requests
  • Notify you when Roamkit expands to your area (interest registrations)
  • Follow up on franchise enquiries
  • Improve our services and understand how customers find us

4. Third-party service providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform. These providers may process your personal information on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are not accessible to us.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, reminders).
  • Neon / Vercel — cloud database and hosting infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain booking records and associated personal information for seven years to comply with Australian tax and business record obligations. Interest registrations and contact form messages are retained until no longer needed for their original purpose. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see section 7).

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Our platform uses HTTPS encryption, access-controlled databases, and industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (where legally permissible)
